Christmas Bunnies!

I used LOTV stamps coloured with promarkers. Glittered the fluffy parts.
The poinsettias are made using Martha Stewart punch and emboss. The background paper I painted white around the edges scruffily then glitter glue over the top. Matted and layered. The santa belt is red card with a black funky foam buckle, a punch! The music sheet was rubber stamped and silver edged. Hope you like it! :O) xx

Altered Storage Box

This started out as a naked wooden box for many years, until.........
first I painted the whole thing white, then once dry used mod podge glue to stick on papers from My Minds Eye stack named Bohemia. Then I used a brown stamp pad to distress around the edges of the wood and the paper.
Using Tim Holtz Hardware Findings die, I cut 4 decorative hinge things out of thick card, bashed the living daylights out of them with Tim Holtz texture hammer. Painted them dark brown and when dry rubbed gold rub-ons over the surface. Then stuck them into position using silicone glue. My Paul then kindly drilled a single hole through each draw centre. Using random knobs bought from local DIY centre attached them one to each draw.

Bramly Cottage Birthday Cake

This is a cake I made for my daughter's 7th birthday. I started with a Norwegian sponge, has 12 eggs in each cake, but tastes good and doesn't sag! Sponged together with strawberry jam and butter cream.
Shaped the whole cake to look like a tree stump.
Covered the whole cake with ready to roll out royal icing.
Then got to work making branches, mice, leaves, apples and so on. I used food colouring for the painting.
The mice I hand painted  before they went on. The tree stump and the leaves I painted together.
This cake took me three days in total to make and decorate, the look on my Laura's face....wow, she loved it! Tasted good too.
